The Red Devils came to the Emirates stadium with the hopes of repeating their first leg heroics and putting a dent on Arsenal’s title charge but they fell short.
After taking the lead and then going behind before restoring parity, the match was heading to a well deserved draw until Arsenal found a way past United’s defence for the third time in the match.
Eddie Nketiah was at the right place at the right time to poach in a shot from his teammate that came an an Arsenal player.
The video assistant referee reviewed the goal and awarded it, much to the displeasure of Man United fans.
From the incident the VAR checked, it is clear that Nketiah was onside due to Wan Bissaka’s positioning.
I believe if the VAR had checked this incident, the goal would’ve been ruled out for offside because Zinchenko was slightly ahead of the last Man United defender.
