Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo has opened up about the heartbreaking loss of his baby son earlier this year.

Ronaldo suffered the loss of his newborn son, one of twins, with partner Georgina Rodriguez in April and he released a statement at the time to share the tragic news: “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away.

“It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. “ur baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.”

Ronaldo has now opened up about the devastating loss in an interview with Piers Morgan, which will be released in full later this week.

“Piers, it was probably the worst moment that I passed through in my life since my father died,” Ronaldo told Piers Uncensored. “When you have a kid, you expect that everything will be normal and when you have that problem it’s hard.
