Lille forward Jonathan David has once again spoken about his desire to play in the Premier League and claimed a move to England is ‘very possible’ in the near future.
The Canada international has been linked with a move to England in recent months, with Manchester United unsurprisingly linked given their need for striking reinforcements.
David, who has scored nine goals in 16 appearances for Lille so far this season, admitted he cannot see a future ‘anywhere other than the Premier League’.
In an interview with La Voic du Nord, the 22-year-old said: “In England, when I watch the matches, everything is full each time. As a player, it motivates you even more.
“I don’t know, I think it’s possible, very possible. I don’t know if I can find myself anywhere other than the Premier League. It could well be the Premier League. It’s a very nice atmosphere.”
