Gary Neville has accused Manchester United of failing to prepare adequately for Michael Olise’s late free-kick after the Crystal Palace man struck right at the death to pinch a share of the spoils for Patrick Vieira’s side.
And Neville, who was less than impressed after the match, promptly pointed out that United failed to acknowledge the danger Olise posed late in the match and insisted that their defensive wall should have been bigger.
Reacting on social media, Neville tweeted: “That wall was never big enough. Always going to shoot!”. Responding to a fan in another tweet, Neville added: “Put the taker off !!! A massive wall with big players in makes it more difficult for a taker! That wall lacked presence and made it look inviting!”
